Posted by weezgrrl at April 26, 2004 02:13 PMI work with a lot of CPAs and they've always told me not to withdraw anything from an IRS or 401k unless you're going to be able to pay it right back, because the taxes are truly heinous. What I would do is go through and figure out how much you'd save over the life of the car loan and see if it makes up for what you'd pay in the penalties and taxes. Easier said than done, huh?
