Crime + Punishment

The Crime: Talking Erik into us buying an Xbox 360 on a whim while looking for a shooter game for the Wii.

The Punishment: A fairly miserable couple of days with some sort of respiratory problem. *cough* x ∞

The Excuse: Hey, when your boyfriend tells you that your idea is "totally hot", you go with it.

In other crime & punishment news, I've become completely obsessed with the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" television serieseseses. Damn the USA Network for playing them back to back to back to back at night! I haven't hit the sack on a schoolnight before midnight in more than a week now. I know that liking the L&O's are probably so fifteen years ago, but what can I say? I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes!

One slight obnoxiousness that I've just stumbled across are its use of the same guest actors coming on to play completely different characters. Case-in-point: actor David Thornton (Cyndi Lauper's husband!) playing a lawyer on a couple episodes of "SVU" and a murder suspect in an episode of "Criminal Intent", and a few other characters on the o.g. "Law & Order" series. Any die hard is bound to have trouble with suspending their disbelief, especially when the conflicting episodes are aired within a week.

And now, back to viewing and coughing and temporarily lamenting the fact that the Xbox is with Erik instead of with me.
